Herat Heart Pharmacy is responsible for providing all the medicines and consumables for hospitalized patients in the wards, operating room, Cath Lab. Controlling the proper storage, expiration date, consumption and proper recording of the medicine and consumables is done by the technical officer and pharmacy personnel.

The pharmacy is equipped with a system of closed-circuit cameras, cold and heat, refrigerator ventilation for medicine storage, hygrometer and thermometer for recording temperature and weather changes.

The necessary consumables medicines of the departments, like Emergency, Wards, and Cath Lab based on the needs and consumption of each department, are delivered to the related departments in the stock and registered according to the regular daily schedule that is carried out by the pharmacists.

The correct registration of these items in the patient file is done and controlled by the doctor and administrated by the nurses. The stock is periodically controlled by the technical officer in terms of the correct storage method, expiration date.
