Herat Heart Hospital is the first equipped center for diagnosis and treatment of Internal and Heart diseases in Afghanistan. It utilizes the most advanced medical equipment, experienced medical staff, and trained specialists 24 hours a day to provide quality health services under the most experienced cardiologists to the respected patients.By benefiting quality management models of standard, this center has been able to provide internal and cardiac medical services to its compatriots, especially in the southwestern zone of the country. This hospital was established in 2020 in accordance with the initiative of Dr. Abdul Khaliq Monib and other health professionals in Herat City to provide quality health services to the people. The hospital, having the capacity of 24-bed facility and operation room (Cath Lab), annually performs more than 1000 procedures include coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention.
